1988 Porsche 944 S Coupe

Welcome to the sale of my Porsche 944S. The S is a 16v engine rated at approximately 200hp.

Whoever wins this will not be disappointed! Its the classic color of black with new tan leather interior. There are no rips, tears, etc. There are no funky smells.

Car has stock options of power windows, locks and mirrors. Power driver seat. Power sunroof that is fully removable for the targa aspect. Power steering, power abs brakes, air conditioning (works awesome) , air bags.

Upon purchasing, I went through every system correcting any minor imperfections until I was satisfied. As an example, the sunroof did function, sort of...but now its back to full operation, just as owner manual states and with new brass gears...so you'll never have to mess with it again.

Purchased about 2 years ago and shipped it from California to Connecticut. Prior to California, it was a southern car. Carfax was clean, with exception of mileage discrepancy. Current mileage is 183,520. Don't let the mileage concern you. Runs excellent, temperature stays below midpoint, oil pressure very strong.

Headlights and fog / driving lights are led. Comes with an extra pair of rims, car cover, carpeted floor mats, bin of spare parts.

Car is an excellent driver, handles quite well. Modifications are minimal:
Performance chip from Dinan ( OEM included), K&N airfilter in stock housing , different exhaust tip (oem included). Runs and sounds stock.

Tires are date coded 2022. Lots of tread, no leaks.

Excellent running condition. Within last 2 years / 7k miles: full engine rebuild (with documentation) new suspension, new brakes (and new calipers), new leather interior. All aspects function as expected, the cruise control is intermittent - either it works or it doesn't. With the engine rebuild was obviously timing belt, water pump, clutch, bearings, rings, etc. (receipts to provide to new owner)

Exterior presents very well. It is not perfect. It does have some paint chips here and there from normal use. I drive and enjoy the car, as it should be! Most have been touched up. There is no rust nor areas that need any level of reconditioning. It shines well and uniformly. The front valence was put on by prior owner and painted prior to my ownership. The match is very good. Please review the pictures in detail.

All internal items function as they should now - even the clock! The leather is new , the headliner is new, the dash has no cracks. It does appear to be a high quality refurbishment though. All internal lights work. The gauges received new (std) bulbs and the optic ports were re- mirrored. The odometer and the reset works as it should. The gas gauge is accurate. The radio works well, bluetooth and USB port. There is a usb charging port installed in the glovebox.
