1988 Porsche 3.2L Carrera Coupe. Guards red over Linen leather interior. (These 87-89's are all G-50 transaxles with hydraulic clutch)

This example is a 'MUST SEE' to be fully appreciated. It has undergone an extensive 4 1/2 year restoration

at a cost of nearly $ 90, 000.00 not including the cost of the car itself. The restoration was done with the intention of restoration to a National Concours example.

There car comes with detailed photos and receipts supporting all phases of the restoration of this stunning 88 3.2 Carrera Coupe. The car was stripped to the bare metal, the interior completely removed and drivetrain. All new glass ( windshield and rear glass) , lights, gaskets, seals, trim pieces, rubber parts, bumper bellows, door handles and mirrors were replaced with new OEM parts. The Interior was removed and sent to California to have door panels, front and rear seats recovered in the finest leather used to replicate the Porsche leather used in the 80's. Many additional parts also replaced were All new axles, shocks, oil tank, oil lines, AC lines, door strikers, all black and anodized hardware and fasteners. The Fuchs 16" alloys were also redone to Show level. The Porsche factory Classic radio and new wiring and speakers were also done. The original Charleston radio comes with the car.

The entire car was refinished in Porsche factory correct paint done to show level standards at a cost of over $ 45, 000.00. In addition, 100 hours of detail work was done to the suspension, underside and engine. Pictures show extensive dry-ice application as well.

The engine + Transaxle also was gone thru extensively with an additional $ 21, 500 in receipts.

The original books, all receipts and a COA come with the car.
