The M491 option, also known as the "Turbo Look" or "Supersport," was a special option package available for the Porsche 911 Carrera models from 1984 to 1989. It allowed customers to get the distinctive wide body style of the Porsche 911 Turbo (Type 930) without the turbocharged engine.
The M491 option added several features to the standard Carrera, including the wider Turbo-style fenders, front and rear spoilers, and the Turbo's braking system.
