Classic Car Overview
My 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT was produced in the model's final year. I am the sole owner; having bought it directly from the Pontiac dealer. The Fiero has 28,296 miles, and is powered by a mid-engine mounted,
2.8-liter V6 Multi -Port Fuel Injected engine paired with a three-speed automatic transaxle. The car has always been kept in a garage, in Kansas City, Missouri, so no UV light damage or fading, interior or exterior.
The Pontiac dealer outfitted the car with virtually every option available. Features include a T-Top sunroof, pop-up headlamps, air conditioning, cruise control, and tilt-adjustable steering wheel. I replaced the original stereo system with an AM/FM/CD player made by Pontiac and fits perfectly in the original stereo-unit space.
The car color is bright red (original paint from the factory), with front air dam, smoked taillights, quad exhaust outlets, and a rear spoiler. The wheels are Gold-finished 15-spoke basketweave design. Braking is by power assisted four-wheel discs. In the interior, the bucket seats are upholstered in tan cloth with coordinating door panels and carpets.
