1988 Pontiac Fiero GT

The 1988 Pontiac Fiero entered into its final year with distinctive styling and performance features. The GT included a 2.8 liter MFI V6 engine, WS6 suspension with special front and rear shocks, special springs, and 15 black diamond-spoke wheels. It also featured a 28mm front stabilizer bar, special bushings, and special front/rear control arms. The 1988 Pontiac Fiero featured newly redesigned indepen-dent front and rear suspension systems and revised four-wheel disc brake system. New features on the GT models included Metrix cloth trim, and monochromatic exterior colors, and a premium AM/FM stereo sound system.

Every 1988 Fiero Coupe included:

Hi-Tech turbo aluminum wheels, and a 2.8 liter Tech IV engine with EFI.

Options on this Fiero included:

soft Ray tinted glass,
electric rear window defogger,
front floor carpets,
power windows,
subwoofer speaker system,
tinted glass opening sunroof,
tilt steering column, and
adjustable cycle windshield wipers.

Fiero production was terminated with the 1988 model after only 6848 GT versions were produced. The buyer of this car will be making an excellent collector car investment. It is the best handling sports car I have ever owned. The only reason Im selling it is Im 80 and need a bigger car to drive. Since only 6848 of the 1988 GT's were produced, Fieros in this condition are extremely rare and are excellent investments.

This Fiero GT was a Product Evaluation Program vehicle, originally bought by Dennis Hall, who worked with the Chief Engineer (I have the Randy Hosler Pontiac invoice with this information).

The car has always been garaged, and never smoked in. I have a created a spreadsheet from maintenance receipts totaling $6020, along with the residence states of previous owners since September 6, 2006, and a clean CarFax report. These documents are available to buyers who come and see the car.
