Classic Car Overview

The Mercedes 560SL is the culmination of Mercedes' R107 chassis style. This particular car was built in 1988 and features a white interior with a tan interior. The paint condition is excellent with a only a small dent on the right, forward fender. The small, bump rail just behind the passenger front door is missing. The car is in overall very good condition. Fairly new tires with chrome wheels and hard top that is in very good condition. The rag top is in fair ~good condition and probably the new caretaker will want to replace that in the near future. The engine and transmission are in very good condition. We had a thorough once over done by a MBZ mechanic here in San Diego. Following is a brief list of items that will need to be attended to: ball joints replacement, various other bushings to be looked at and possibly replaced, fuel accumulator should be replaced, various vacuum hoses should be replaced. The estimated cost to do the above has been factored into the price. A variety of small cosmetic issues are also present but easily remedied even by a DIY type. In summary, the car is beautiful and runs strong. Like all of us who are aging, we need a little TLC and so does this car. We recently moved onto a boat and don't have a place to keep her and are therefore selling her. Hard to see her go!
