Originally purchased from an airline pilot who brought the car from California to Texas in the early 1990s, it later became a summer-only ice cream cruiser and has remained carefully stored under cover indoors from October through May each year. The car has seen extremely limited use in recent years, occasionally only being driven around the block once annually to keep it exercised and maintained.
