Vehicle Overview

Car was bought nearly new in 1989 (all original paperwork has been saved!) and then used for sunny weekend drives around the MD/VA area. In 1994, the car was driven to Salt Lake City, where it was put in the garage until 2014. The heater core had gone bad, but in 2014 Steven Costello and Motorsport Consulting in SLC restored the car to working order. The car has been sparingly driven since and now resides in Eastern WA.

Mechanical

When the car was restored in 2014, all hoses, plugs, etc. was replaced with OEM parts, to the best of Motorsport Consultings ability. The heater core was also replaced. There is an audible ticking sound at idle and low speeds that could be an exhaust leak, but was not deemed problematic.

Exterior

This is in great shape. Paint is what you would expect from a car that has been covered and garaged mostly since 1994.

Interior

Great leather and carpet. Front seats have all weather mats.

I’m not sure how it works. My top $ would have been 5k today. I thought someone might go more than that. Maybe more pics of engine compartment and pics of the paperwork that verifies the mileage would help.

This auction fell way short of my expectations, so I’m not sure I would put it up again. Maybe it’s just the wrong time for it? I suppose if this comment section stays live, you have a chance to make an offer.

Will you be putting this back up for auction? I tried to bid on it again but did not make it in time. Thanks.

Unfortunately the other side of the country. Probably $3,000 to ship it
