This regular-cab short-bed has the clean OBS look everyone wants, but underneath it has been heavily modernized with Camaro-based performance hardware, upgraded braking, custom suspension, and a late-model drivetrain package.

Power comes from a 6.2L V8 sourced from a 2014 Camaro donor and paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine bay has a clean, modern presentation with Camaro engine covers, a custom intake setup, upgraded wiring, and a detailed overall layout that makes this truck feel far more current than a factory 1988 C1500. The result is a classic Chevy pickup with modern power, smooth drivability, and the kind of performance that completely changes the personality of the truck.

One of the biggest highlights of this build is the 5th-generation Camaro independent rear suspension conversion. This gives the truck a much more planted, performance-oriented feel compared to the original solid-axle setup.
