1988 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

1988 Corvette, 2nd owner. Runs and drives like new. Recently serviced at Corvette Village in Shawnee KS using Royal Purple synthetic oil. Transmission and all other fluids checked and evacuated. New dash and ABS relay installed 2025.

The car is powered by a 5.7-liter L98 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in beautiful Dark Red Metallic with immaculate tan cloth interior. It is equipped with a limited-slip differential, 16-inch turbine-style alloy wheels, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning, power windows, driver seat and mirrors.

The car features pop-up headlights, fog lamps, quad exhaust outlets, a removable tinted-glass roof panel and a second roof panel painted to match the car. Theres a paint chip on the hood and a scratch in the bumper. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery.

The 16-inch turbine-style alloy wheels are mounted with Firestone Firehawk 245/50R16 Sport tires. The tires have good tread but are older. The car is equipped with independent front and five-link rear suspension as well as front and rear stabilizer bars. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in tan cloth along with complementary carpets and door panels. Amenities include an AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning and cruise control.
The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a digital instrument panel that includes the speedometer, tachometer, fuel-level, as well as numeric readouts for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel economy. The odometer shows 20045 miles.

The 5.7-liter L98 V8 is equipped with Tuned Port Injection with aluminum cylinder heads and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Only known problems are the radio, rear latch switch on the driver's door, small chip in the right front hood and scratch on the right front bumper.
