1988 was a special year because it was Corvettes 35th Anniversary so a number of improvements were made as if a Corvette isnt impressive enough already! The L98 engine got a bump in HP due to the addition of a free breathing cylinder heads, a reprofiled camshaft and a less restrictive muffler package on the coupes only. Larger 17x9.5-inch wheels with meaty P275/40ZR-17 Goodyear Eagle GT Z-Rated tires were offered and this was the 1st car to have wheels that large.

Inside, the Corvette is equipped with features designed for convenience. Those Corvettes were sold to a famous artist who put them in storage, and they were forgotten about until discovered in 2005. After being discovered they were separated and sold to new owners including the gentleman selling this beauty which was part of the collection.
