1988 BMW 325i Convertible

A beautiful Southern rust free car with no accidents, this Cirrus Blue Metallic 1988 BMW 325i Convertible was constructed in December of 1987. Heralded for its smoothness and fun-to-drive nature, the E30 325 was said by Car and Driver to virtually match the performance of the E30 M3, while being an easier car with which to live. This nicely preserved 325i Convertible,is a two-owner example, located in Mineral, Virginia.
Powertrain :
As fitted to this car, BMWs M20B25 iron-block 2.5-liter SOHC inline-six was tuned to produce 168 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 167 lb-ft of torque at 4,300 rpm. A five-speed manual transmission was paired with the engine to feed the rear wheels. The power plant is original to the car
Cold starts are verified trouble free with no smoke at all. The transmission shifts great through all the gears with no clunks or thumps. 
Exterior:
Finished in Cirrus Blue Metallic paint, the 325 Convertibles body is free of blemishes.
Repainted professionally in 2012 and the finish is in excellent condition. It has a new roof and it opens and closes perfectly. No issues with the windows or the body seals. Exterior lighting all work . 
Interior:
The E30s Sand Beige leather seats are in excellent condition, having been recently reupholstered, and enjoying their full ranges of motion. Carpet is in great shape with no holes. The dome lights work fine. All interior trim is intact, instrumentation is free of concerns, and the original radio works with a bit of static some time. Power windows and door locks are perfectly functional. Heat and A/C is in need of attention, as they are not operative. 

This E30 tracks straight with no play in its steering. No issues with the bushings or the brakes. Front braking system completely replaced less than 250 miles ago.
