Classic Car Overview
1987 944 S 16-valve coupe in very good condition. No rust perforations on body, overall in very good condition. Paint in great condition, front end in great shape, only driven about 50 miles since front-end repair and repaint.
This car was recently listed in Maryland but I just moved and the car is now in Suffolk VA.
Car was in a minor front end collision in 2011, vehicle remained drivable but insurance totaled it. I bought it back and had the front end rebuilt by Impression Collision Werkes in White Marsh MD.
(See photos from body shop at https://www.facebook.com/277357615718440/photos/pb.100054318378826.-2207520000/322453837875484/?type=3)
Vehicle has REBUILT TITLE. Body repair work was exceptional, replacing the front subframe and all front end components. More photos of rebuild are documented and can be provided upon request. I have not driven the vehicle since the car was repaired in 2012. At the same time I bought a 968 and motorcycle so I didn't get much time to enjoy the 944S.
Interior is in great condition, dash has minor warping around the top vents but no significant cracking. Drivers seat bottom has some cracking but passenger seat is in great condition. Carpet is in excellent condition with minimal fading. Rear carpets are in great condition. Rubber spoiler in excellent condition. All exterior plastics/rubber in great shape. Headlights popup with no issues, fog lights work. Cruise control works. Sunroof functions.
Original phone dial wheels on vintage Pirelli P6 tires. I have a set of Design 90 rims with no tires on them for extra cost.

Known Issues:
-Rebuilt title.
-AC won't hold a charge but will blow cold while it has a charge.
-Brake discs will need to be machine turned or replaced due to time sitting.
-Some blue smoke upon start up.
-Radiator has very small leak that does not drip but will exhibit some steam after running for 20 or more minutes.
-Odometer was working when I last drove it in 2012, at some point while in storage someone pushed the reset button and may have broken the gear. This is a very common issue.
-Limit switch on sunroof needs reset, sunroof will open/close but will not stop at preset position. Another common issue. I have new brass gears to install.
-Driver's seat bottom has some tears in leather.
