As is always the case with the Porsche 911, the limited-edition variants are the most sought-after by collectors. In the case of the Carrera 3.2, the first of these was the M491 option officially called the Supersport but commonly known as the Turbo Look. Introduced in 1984, it was a style that resembled the Type 930 911 Turbo with its flared wheel arches, large rear wing, and deeper front spoiler. The M491 package also included the Turbos stiffer suspension, superior brakes, and wider wheels.

As this is a rare special ordered M491 Turbo-Look Cabriolet, it features: flared front and rear fenders, Turbo whale tail, Turbo suspension, Turbo brakes, and 7 x 16 and 9 x 16 Turbo Fuchs alloy wheels. Only 16 examples were reportedly produced for the US market in 1987, making this one of the rarest and most desired Porsches on the market today. This exquisite example was special ordered and delivered new by legendary Zipper Porsche Beverly Hills on September 2, 1987 and remained in Southern California and Nevada for most of its life.
