Classic Car Overview
After three years our family is selling our fun car. Maximus is a 1987
G-Wagon import. Over the last three years my shop has done a significant
amount that is detailed in photos and with receipts. The following
items were done:
1987 240GD Wolf, Danish Military
617A swap completed, compression tested, receipts and pictures available
Auto Transmission, serviced and tested.
Blower motor completed by my shop, receipts and pictures available.
Hood repaint to correct issues, receipt available
New Koni Shocks, receipts available
For someone wanting to do significant off-roading I've included new engine mounts that prevent issues with the pumpkin.
Numerous other items my shop did.
This was supposed to be the family fun car but life happened. I can put
it on our rack for inspection and happy to walk anyone through what we
did. There is still a small lien on the rig, there will be full
transparency during the purchase on how things will be handled. Perfect
these rigs go in the high 70k, this is not perfect but a very good
representation.
Warning: This is a vintage Mercedes Jeep. It does not have A/C. It does
not have power windows. The gearing on the car pretty much makes it
impossible to go above 60 mph comfortably. It is a no frills rig that
you don't see much. If you are looking for a newer G-Wagon this is not
your thing.
