Classic Car Overview

This is a 1987 Mercedes G-Wagon, featuring a 5-cylinder diesel 602 NA engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. I'm 90 years old, and the vehicle has been stored in a garage in Denver, Colorado, for the past seven years. As a result, it currently has accumulated some dust and grime from sitting idle, and Im unsure if it will start in its present condition.

The last time I drove it, the G-Wagon ran well, although its acceleration was slow, similar to a semi-truck, but it could reach up to 70 mph on the highway. To improve performance, I purchased a 1992 turbocharged 602 engine with just 34,000 miles on it, which is included with the car, though I never got around to installing it.

Additional features include a built-in GPS on the dashboard and a tool kit in the rear, as shown in the photos. Although I now live in Florida, I can arrange for someone to show the vehicle in Denver. This has been a great carprofessionally built with removable top hat screw eyesand it also comes with a detachable top, though I rarely used it due to the rattling.
