1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

We have recently acquired this consignment from our long-time dear friends. This Signal Red Mercedes 560SL with Palomino interior was their night on the town weekender. It pains them part ways, but recently theyve decided it was their best choice to down-size their collection and focus more on family time back in Michigan.

This car was originally owned by the husbands affluent childhood neighbor. While visiting his parents, he strikes a conversation with the neighbor and they start talking about the Mercedes. The neighbor says, Well its about time I get a new one anyway. The husband thinks for a moment and before he knew it, they start talking numbers. He goes home and explains the situation to his wife and before he was even done talking, she says Just grab the check book.

Later the wife revealed she had been eyeing that car every time they would visit the husbands parents, claiming it was something about the shape of it, the red paint and the tan inside, it was just so appealing to me. The wifes fondest memories in this car was simply driving through downtown with the top down, her and her husbands favorite music playing, taking in the warm night air here in Florida before arriving at their favorite restaurant or social club.

They have owned and garage-kept this Mercedes for the last 22 years. All the original books and brochures are still intact and they have all the service records since 2002.

The service records depict routine early maintenance and even a new head gasket, head resurfacing, timing chain and tensioners, and much more to refresh the engine in 2020. Since 2002, the accumulated total for maintenance on this Mercedes near $23,000.

Brakes are excellent
Steering does not have any excessive slop or play at all
The interior is absolutely clean
Non smoker car

PRICE:
This 560 SL is best suited for a buyer pursuing an extremely well-cared-for car with low miles. Our seller is not expecting the moon, but they also know when a low-baller is pecking at their door.
Needless to say, if the car was not priced properly for a smooth sale, we would not have taken it in on consignment.
