1987 Mercedes-Benz 420SEL

1987 Mercedes 420 SEL. 86K+ original miles. Black Pearl Metallic over Medium Red Leather. Interior is in excellent shape, paint has patina. I'm the second owner, bought it in 2021 from original owner and have many of his service receipts including full timing chain, tensioner, and camshaft service plus replacement of distributor cap and rotor, and valve covers in 2016 at 68K miles. New Michelins in 2019 with less than 25K miles, and headlights and rims refurbished. In my ownership, have done full brake work (calipers, pads, rotors), replaced steering gear (ball joints, shocks, struts, bushings, and filter). New starter, water pump, belts and hoses, thermostat, radiator and wheel bearings. Plus usual maintenance with fluids, filters, and A/C service recharge. Original but upgraded Becker radio now has Bluetooth capability. Records available on request. This car is an absolutely joy to drive, eats the miles in ultra comfortable style, and has never failed to start or left me stranded. Shifts great, runs strong and straight, brakes excellent. A prime example of when engineers ruled Mercedes and spared no expense in their design and build decisions. More photos available on request.
