1987 Mercedes S Class diesel (300SDL). Only about 5500 cars of this model were manufactured worldwide in 1987. Engine: 3.0-liter, 143 HP straight 6-cylinder turbo diesel. Four speed automatic transmission. Excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. Mileage 156,240 miles as of 14 July 2023. I purchased this car 20 November 2009 with a clean Car Fax report. The car has been well maintained since my purchase. The major maintenance is as follows: Radiator replaced, rebuilt rear end and trued drive shaft, replaced AC compressor. Cosmetic/body work: Ziebart treatment 11/21/14, full body paint matching original color 7/21/16, new front seat leather skins 4/16/19. Has an original Mecedes AM/FM cassette radio (fully functional), the original owners manual and warranty books, First Aid kit never opened and several maintenance CDs. Full maintenance records since 2009. On highway trips I got about 28MPG. Hagerty values: Concurs 51K; Excellent 30K; Good 19K
