The story of the ZL1 Camaro, fitted with that rarest of the rare, all-aluminum 427 big-block V-8, is one that has often been told: How only 69 were made, how they exploited the GM option-ordering system, and how they've become the Camaro guy's ultimate Camaro.

Classic Car Overview

You're looking at a beautiful 1987 Chevrolet IROC-Z28 Camaro, 20th anniversary. This is a drive away classic and not shy of the road. The paint is glossy and is miles deep in shine, an 8 out of 10. This IROC sits on its original, unmolested, rust-free frame with all OEM parts. The chassis stills houses original suspension, lines, and OEM exhaust (exhaust appears to never have been changed and still has the original catalytic converter attached).  It is very rare to find an IROC with an unmolested chassis like this one.  All lines look new and all rubber hoses are pristine.  Under the hood you'll find a work of art for an engine; an original 5.0 mated to its original 5-speed manual transmission.  The engine bay is impeccable and as it came from the factory.  Absolutely no modifications have been made to this engine.  The vehicle even has its original air conditioning system and parts.  Power is delivered to the rear wheels via its original rear end differential. The stopping power is brought to you by the original front disk brakes and rear drum brakes.

The interior is all original and absolutely stunning!  It looks as if it were frozen in time.  Not a single tear or worn piece of upholstery inside.  The dash, knobs, gauges, and panels look immaculate.  All labels around and on knobs are clean, clear, and look new.  The shift knob does shows a bit of wear.  Door panels are original and look new.  Convertible top frames look new.  All interior lights work and all gauges work.  Original radio and tape player installed and working properly.  Era-correct Goodyear tires installed all around on matching original wheels.  I am not sure if the tires are original, but they are the correct ones installed in the factory for this vehicle.  Original wheels properly installed and labeled "FRONT" and "REAR." Glass is in excellent condition all around. One thing to note as you look the glass is that the weather trim surrounding the glass looks as it did the day it came off the dealership floor.

I am the third owner and I have owned the vehicle for about a year and a half.  I have driven about 800 miles and I definitely enjoy driving it!  The 5-speed manual transmission shifts through every gear smooth without effort and without grinding.  Reverse does grind every-once in a while (not all the time) when initially putting it into gear, then runs perfect.  The steering is steady and without vibrations.  The vehicle does pull slightly to the right, but nothing you would have to fight through.  The OEM exhaust idles nicely and sounds like a trip back to the past.  The suspension is amazing and car drives without any abnormal noises or rattles.

I am the sole owner. I am not a dealer.

I have some original paperwork from when the vehicle was purchased by the original owner.  I don't have the original window sticker, but I do have the original owner's manual and the mileage disclosure from the original purchase.

Cash or wire transfer only please. Vehicle will not be released until all funds are cleared.  Buyer arranges own transportation. CLEAN TITLE. Car is in Miami-Dade County Florida.  I would love to show this car to anyone and everyone, but only serious offers will be considered for a test drive--no joyrides please.

Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. Roy 786-566-9291
