1986 Nissan 300ZX Turbo Hatchback

This 1986 Nissan 300ZX is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in Dark Red Metallic over red cloth upholstery. Equipment includes 16 alloy wheels, a T-bar roof with removable glass panels, pop-up headlights, cruise control, power windows and locks, and a digital AM/FM cassette stereo. The car was acquired by the seller out of Florida in 2020. Work since 2020 has reportedly included a timing belt service, fluid changes, and replacement of the radiator hoses, ignition components, fuel filter, and muffler. This Z31 300ZX is offered with a window sticker, an owners manual, T-top storage bags, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title in the sellers name.

The car is finished in Dark Red Metallic and features a T-bar roof with removable glass panels. Additional equipment includes pop-up headlights, front and rear spoilers, power-adjustable mirrors, and a telescoping antenna. The passenger side mirror has damage to the outer frame and can be viewed in the gallery below.

Alloy 16 wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners.
The seats are upholstered in red cloth with striped inserts, and the cabin features a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include power windows and locks, cruise control, air conditioning, and a digital AM/FM cassette stereo.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 145-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperatures, while oil pressure/temperature and boost readouts are centrally located in the dashboard. The six-digit odometer shows 41k miles, approximately 2,700 of which were added by the seller. The Carfax report indicates that a Not Actual Mileage title was issued beginning in 2014, and true mileage is unknown.

The 3.0-liter V6 is equipped with a T3 Garrett turbocharger and was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 227 lb-ft of torque. Services conducted in May 2020 are said to have included replacements of the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, upper and lower radiator hoses, bypass hose, and camshaft and crankshaft seals. The distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs, ignition wires, and fuel filter were replaced in March 2021 per the seller. A/C blows ice cold air and was serviced with 2 lbs of R-12 refrigerant June 2022. Car is rust free.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The muffler was replaced in October 2022.

An owners manual and three keys are included in the sale. The window sticker shows initial delivery to Mahan Motors Inc. in Warren, Pennsylvania, along with factory colors, equipment, and a total MSRP of $21,759.
