New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1986 Mercedes Benz 560SL 2 Door Convertible with gold exterior paint and an immaculate matching gold leather interior.  You’ll find a 5.6L V-8 engine under the hood that’s paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission, and this particular example is nicely optioned from the factory with power locks/windows, cold A/C, a Kenwood sound system and so much more.  With a mere 107,263 lifetime miles showing on the odometer, this 1986 Mercedes Benz 560SL Roadster is in tremendous condition and ready to enjoy right away.

Highly Original w/ Very Nice Lifetime Documentation

The current owner is the 3rd to enjoy this 1986 Mercedes Benz 560SL Roadster and he informs us that it originally sold in Lafayette, California.  He acquired it back in 2017 and was drawn to this example due to its excellent overall original condition and low mileage.  To his knowledge, the factory drivetrain has not been restored over the years but there is extensive documentation for everything done over the years and you’ll find many of the original accessories still in place as well.  This classic roadster also delivers tremendous performance and handling on the open road thanks to decades of proper maintenance.

In terms of physical condition, this 1986 Mercedes Benz 560SL 2 Door Convertible shows well in person with excellent body lines and above average exterior paint.  The chrome and trim accents are also largely unblemished and the factory interior is essentially like-new in condition throughout.  There is some slight blemish to be found but overall, this is an incredibly well-maintained classic that can be shown off at local events and car shows right away.
