2010 Cobra Jet

Following in the tradition of previous Ford factory built Mustang race cars like the 1968 Cobra Jet, the Boss 429 and the FR500S Mustang Challenge car, Ford Racing and AAI started work on a production run of 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs in January 2010. Ford Racing built 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs at Ford vendor facilities.

Lights! Cameras! Cars!

One thing that the crew at Volo Auto Museum understands is that context is everything. They have gone the extra mile to display each movie car with memorabilia and signage that brings the scene to life. The museum features actual movie props such as Tom Cruise's racing seat from Days Of Thunder.

Classic Car Overview

This vehicle was built for OFF ROAD not for show, although it shows very well. The body is powder coated not painted to withstand all your off-road terrain. Because of this you will find a few dents and welds on the body. That is because you cannot use body filer on a powder coded surface. I have included pictures of before and after in the photos.
I have over $28.000.00 in parts alone in this build. Everything on this Jeep has been replaced or rebuilt. The engine is a Rebuilt Chevy 350 V8 with approximately 240 miles. It has 4-wheel disk brakes and a 2 ½ in lift. Some of the other features include:
Holley Spider EFT
EAG Front and Rear Bumpers
Dana 44 Rear End
Moab Racing Seats with 4-point seat belts
Digital Speedometer and Gauges
Steering Stabilizer
Warren Winch
New Dick Cepek 33 X 12.5 Off Road Tires
This vehicle isn't even broke-in yet, it still has all break-in fluids. Unfortunately, due to some health issues I have to sell. If you are a serious off-roader you will love this, Jeep!
