The ATK performance short block is bored .40 over and fitted with a Comp cam, Comp hardened pushrods, Comp timing gear set, Trick Flow slumbers, Trick Flow aluminum roller rockers, and Trick Flow valve covers. An Edelbrock Air Gap dual-plane intake, Holley 770 Street Avenger carburetor, MSD ignition, billet RTR distributor, MSD wires, and long-tube headers feed a true dual exhaust with X-pipe and Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers. Cooling is handled by Flex-A-Lite electric fans.

The truck sits on a Skyjacker 6 suspension lift with an additional 3 body lift, riding on 38.5x13x16.5 Interco TSL Super Swamper Boggers mounted on U.S. Wheel 8-spoke chrome wheels. Power is delivered through a C6 automatic with TCI high-stall converter, Borg Warner 1345 transfer case, Dana 60 front axle, Ford 10.75 rear axle, and 4.10 gears. Dual fuel tanks and an Optima Yellow Top deep cycle battery add to its reliability.
