The Chevrolet Corvette (C4) is the fourth generation of the Corvette sports car, produced by American automobile manufacturer Chevrolet from 1983 until 1996. For 1986, the Corvettes saw the return of the convertible and was named as the Pace Car for the Indianapolis 500.
