Vehicle Overview

An unrepeatable opportunity for serious Japanese classic collectors and restorers. This highly coveted MkII Supra is an original, USDM (United States Domestic Market) model preserved by its sole owner from new. It represents the ultimate honest restoration candidate, boasting an unbroken paper trail, 100% factory originality, and a rust-free chassis.

Vehicle Overview - 1985 Toyota Celica Supra (US Market Specification) with 5-speed manual transmission, 172,000 original miles, 1 Owner from new. Clean title in hand, 100% Stock (No modifications). Factory Dark Blue Metallic exterior, blue Cloth (All original) Interior.

Provenance, History & Documentation - This vehicle represents the holy grail for collectors: absolute paper-trail transparency and a dry-climate history. West Coast Heritage: Spent its first nine years in Southern California and the remainder of its life in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Rust-Free: Due to its West Coast history, the chassis and body are solid and free of structural rust. Original Purchase Receipt: Original US dealership invoice from 1985 included. Service History: Chronicled with repair records. Literature: The original US-market factory manuals and booklets present.

Why This Car?
Unlike most US-market MkII Supras that suffered from structural rust or multi-owner neglect, this car's bones are solid. The original components from the iconic pop-up headlights to the alloy wheels and factory stereo is exactly what the factory installed in 1985.

Towing & Trailering Requirements -
Running Status: Although the engine starts and runs, due to the brake fluid leak and eight years of storage, this vehicle cannot be test-driven. The brake line leak must be repaired and the car thoroughly checked by a mechanic before being driven.
Buyer Responsibility: The buyer is strictly responsible for arranging all logistics, winch-equipped trailers, or professional towing services for removal.
Rolling Condition: The tires roll freely for loading purposes, but the vehicle must be trailered away safely from its current location.

Mechanical

Original 2.8L Twin-Cam 5M-GE inline-six engine and drivetrain. Unmolested engine bay. Brakes require service before driving. The car has been safely garaged and not driven for the last eight years due to a brake fluid leak. It is being sold as a running, as-is project, offering the perfect canvas for a high-reward restoration.

Exterior

Factory-correct Dark Blue Metallic paint with aggressive flared arches. Some trim paint has flaked off or faded from sun exposure. A few exterior plastic pieces are brittle or broken. The original exterior radio antenna has broken off but is included.

Interior

Complete and all-original blue cabin. The dashboard and some interior pieces show cracked vinyl from West Coast sun exposure. The driver's seat upholstery and surrounding trim show wear consistent with mileage. The stereo and power-adjustable function for the passenger-side mirror are currently inoperable.
