Classic Car Overview

The 1985 Celica Supra holds a unique place in Toyota history. This was the last year of production before Toyota cut ties with the Celica name entirely and launched the Supra as its own standalone model. The result is a car that handles with a balance and precision that still feels impressive today.

This is a very honest and complete example of a car that is only getting harder to find in this kind of shape.

The Celica Supra helped turn Toyotas reputation around in America at a time when the company desperately needed a win. It earned a spot on Car and Drivers Ten Best list in both 1983 and 1984, and Motor Trend named it Import Car of the Year. Those are not small things for a car that a lot of people had not yet taken seriously. Today, clean examples are quietly climbing in value as collectors catch on to just how good this generation really was.
