RARE AND EXCEPTIONAL. 8221 MODEL.This example was made for WRC homologation.#127 of 200.Aluminum roofAluminum doors.Extremely sought after.The Renault was imported to California in 1985.From France to Hamburg to Detroit, final destination Los Angeles.It was in LA where the car went through the DOT, EPA and DMV. Car has been registered in California and is on a California title. The car was purchased by a tall person who gave himself more room by changing the steering wheel and seats. Original steering wheel and seats will go with the sale of the car. The car has had little use in its life having covered on 26,000 miles.The car was recently discovered in 2015 when a Beverly Hills mansion was put on the market and this was in the garage.The current owner has had it since then and had the car freshened up with new fluids etc.The engine sounds very nice and is great to drive. We touched the paint up in a few places and painted the hood.Rest of the car is pretty much all factory paint.Very clean inside.Original 2 keys. This is an extremely straight car and is rust free.
