1985 Mercedes-Benz 300D Turbo

I bought this 300D last October with the intent of making it my daily driver. Since then, I've installed new tires, a new audio head unit w/bluetooth, new speakers, a new heat/cooling central control unit and a new air conditioning system. I'm selling it because the slightest smell of diesel sickens my wife, and she dislikes the diesel rumble. I've reached the conclusion that this car isn't going to work in the household.
The car has been serviced and repaired at Werner's Mercedes in Salt Lake City for the last two decades. I have extensive records dating back 20 years, and spotty records prior to that. The engine was replaced with a used one in September 2015. At that time, the car had 241,255 miles on it. The replacement motor was used, but the repair receipt does not indicate its mileage. The prior owner told me that it had 140,000 miles on it. I have no reason to believe that this isn't accurate but admit that I have no documentary proof. If it is accurate, the car's body has 277K miles on it and the engine has roughly 176K miles on it. I
As you can see from the photos, the paint is in pretty good shape except for a couple of small gashes on the hood and the clearcoat on the roof is deteriorating. There's a rust area around the rear window. I got a bid from MAACO to paint it for $2,500. The interior photos speak for themselves; everything is in good shape. I can't see any rust on the undercarriage, but I wasn't able to take photos to upload for this ad.
I've invested about $12K in this car. I know that I won't recover that in this sale. For those of you who appreciate the reliability of a W123 diesel, this would be a solid purchase. I'm happy to send the repair/maintenance records.
