Classic Car Overview

I special ordered this Corvette in June of 1985 because I wanted a non-standard interior color dark brown. It was delivered in August and I have been driving it for the past 40 years, 190,000 original miles. It has never been in a collision, never been "smoked" in, never been to a car wash (always hand washed) and has always been garaged. The interior is in excellent condition. I have always used full synthetic oil Mobil 1 & Mobil 1 filters. Everything on the car is fully functional as the day it was delivered. When something broke or wore out, I had it fixed. Its in excellent mechanical condition and I have all my repair records. It has 80,000 miles on the existing original, re-built, engine and transmission. The wheels and tires have been up-graded to 17-inch Corvette wheels. It runs great and looks good. It was re-painted with the original color 30 years ago, now showing fading paint, some chips and scrapes, and could use a refreshed paint job. It spent its first 25 years in Southern California where it was an occasional driver year around. The next 11 years it was in Central Oregon and only driven in Spring, Summer and Fall as the weather would permit. It now lives in Central Arizona where it is, again, an occasional year around driver.

It's a very cool reliable ride.
