Windy City Warriors

From around 1956 until the mid 1980s, Dodge, Plymouth and even Chrysler squads were the most ubiquitous police cars in North America. In fact, the biggest department, the NYPD, used Plymouth and Dodge squads almost exclusively until the rear-drive M body car was finally axed in 1989.

Classic Car Overview

1984 Hurst Olds 442 37,000 Original Miles 1 of 1500 with T-Tops Lightning Rod Shifters
One of 3500 Hurst Olds produced in 1984.  There were only 1500 of the 3500 made with T-Tops.  The car is in excellent shape for the year.  The bottom 1/4 black portion under the red stipe of the car has been professionally flawlessly restored/repainted.  There are a few rock chips on the front bumper, a couple of VERY light door dings, and a couple of light scratches.  No other exterior flaws.  The only interior flaw is shown in one of the pictures of the passenger seat where a small area of the velour has worn down.  The drivers side carpet shows a small wear spot where the top right edge of the original floor mat has rubbed against the carpet.  I cannot find any other flaws in the interior.  EVERYTHING works on the car including the A/C.  The A/C blows cold as it should.  The alignment is dead on and every electrical switch works including the power seat.  The T-Tops DO NOT leak and the rubber moulding is still in great shape.  The car runs perfect and shifts flawlessly.  The lightning rods shift properly.  I have 2 sets of keys, books and original warranty information.  This is a 3 owner car.  It has a clean car fax with no records of having any damage.  I recently went through the cooling system, installing a new thermostat, radiator, system flush, and leak tested.  I also had the transmission serviced with a complete flush, new filter, and transmission pan gasket. I bought this car as a collector but am forced to list it as my job is transferring out of state.  I have several other collector cars that are being listed as well.
