From around 1956 until the mid 1980s, Dodge, Plymouth and even Chrysler squads were the most ubiquitous police cars in North America. In fact, the biggest department, the NYPD, used Plymouth and Dodge squads almost exclusively until the rear-drive M body car was finally axed in 1989.

Classic Car Overview

84 Hurst Olds.  A real muscle car!  2nd owner.  This car was purchased on June 11, 1984 by my mother who was 65 years old at the time.  It was her Sunday car.  She kept it under a carport, and also covered it with a car cover.  It is silver and red.  Has maple red interior.  Has lightning rod shifters and t-tops.  Has power driver's seat, am/fm cassette radio, vanity light package,  power door and window locks,  power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, power windows, AM/FM Cassette Player, center console with shifter,  and a/c.  307 engine.  Has a silver hood scoop with a black spoiler.   It came off the assembly line at #2352 of the only 3500 that were made.  This was verified by the Hurst/Olds Club of America.  It was built on February 8, 1984.  It was well maintained by her son who owns a car repair garage.  It is in great mechanical condition with no known issues.  Runs and looks great.  Interior is in excellent shape.  The exterior is also in excellent shape with the only issue being a small place on the trunk that was caused by the addition and removable of the car cover.  This car deserves to be enjoyed by someone who can appreciate its beauty and history.  It is currently stored in Cornelia GA.
