1984 Jeep CJ 7

1984 Jeep CJ7 - Porsche metallic sapphire - $20k

I spent many hours rebuilding this CJ as my daily driver. New job travel wont allow me to drive her anymore, so time for her next owner. She has always fired right up and ran like a carbureted tractor!

She drives solid and Im sad to see her go, but I have to get something better for long daily commutes and need the room in my garage. Serious offers only.

I do not have the hard top but I have soft doors. Power steering and brakes. Body is clean and coated inside and underneath. Currently on 35 Mickey Thompsons with solid tread left.

PO stated that AMC 258 (i6) engine was rebuilt approximately 20k miles ago. 4-speed manual transmission shows no signs of issue.

Below has been done since purchase (less than 1k miles I had a very short commute and worked a hybrid schedule!)

Frame and axles cleaned and coated with Eastwood products
Complete rear end rebuild including:
new drum brakes (rotors, cylinders, etc.)
One piece axle swap
All seals, bearings and gaskets replaced
New Bilstein shocks, front and rear
Complete front end rebuild including:
Chromoly axles w new u-joints
Moog serviceable ball joints
New hubs
New disc brakes (rotors, cylinders, etc.)
All seals, bearings and seals replaced
Steering/Linkage Rebuild:
all HD linkage (drag link and tie rod)
New HD steering shaft
New steering box (power)
Exhaust replacement:
new, coated long tube headers
Borla tour master muffler
New carburetor (had performance intake already installed)
Fuel delivery system refurb (removed some spare parts PO had installed and cleaned it up)
LED headlights
