This 1984 Ford Mustang GT-350 is exceptionally rare in more than one way. While only a scant percentage of the production run were convertibles, this car is one of 104 convertibles to be powered with the turbocharged 2.3L four-cylinder motor! All 1984 GT-350 models shared a common paint and interior scheme with white bodies and a deep red interior, and this particular car is equipped with a white top. The special edition package also included halo bucket seats, the TRX suspension package which includes special wheels and tires and fog lights. Power from the turbocharged engine is transmitted through a five-speed manual transmission. While the speedometer reads a maximum of 85 miles per hour as per federal mandate at the time of production, this car is not slouch in the performance department and is an absolute blast to drive.
