Classic Car Overview

This old gem is the much-hyped 1984 New Yorker ("The Talking Car" - and maybe the first back in the day). And YES - the Mileage is original and correct - just shy over 64,900 miles. No rust, super clean, chrome parts are pristine. It has the 2.4L Mitsubishi engine. The car has not been driven in quite some time consistently - probably 5 or so years. I have the locking hub caps and the key, however, the center caps are missing. Within the last 3 or so years I had about $3600 in work done on the car - including new distributor, all new ignition cables, spark plugs. It has a new battery (warrantee transfer to any AAA Members). The car fires right up and runs (and talks). There was about 1/4 tank of old gas in it, so it runs a bit rough, but I have filled the tank and added fuel stabilizer. Some slight knocking in the ride - probably needs a suspension check-up (bad/worn bushing?). Some TLC needed: tires - good tread but I would get new tires as they are old, the headliner is in good shape but needs tacked up. Other than that, this is a super clean, low mileage piece of talking auto history.
