Classic Car Overview
Truck was gone over inside and out by current owner who repaired or replaced all bad or questionable parts for a safe and dependable vehicle. No rust was found even on floor pans or door bottoms. Have dozens of pictures documentation. Included here are some showing insides of doors, engine top end and even inside the gas tank.
Loaded with a long list of options, This El Camino travels down the highway with comfort and style. Runs, handles and drives like a much newer vehicle.
Carfax shows no accidents or damage. There are some minor rock nicks in paint and parking lot dings on lower doors. Have to look close to see.
Except for speakers in doors it is mostly original. The emissions components are all present and believed to be working, but cannot guarantee. A few modifications, center brake light, cup holder, USB power ports, bluetooth retro radio and rear sway bar were installed in a way so a future owner could remove if desired with no evidence or damage. Air Conditioning is converted to 134A.
Original interior in excellent condition. Headliner and visors were replaced. No cracks in dash. New spare tire. Clean and clear title.
Always garaged kept and never smoked in.
Original numbers matching drive train with 3.08 rear end, 5 liter (305) engine and TH350 trans. Era correct rally wheels. Larger, 22 gallon fuel tank. Documented 160,327 miles at posting. Clean title is in my possession. These pictures show the true condition...really good shape but not perfect. Runs and drives like it was 10-15 years old. Has not been made into a hot rod. Muffler is quiet. Keeps up with others on the road or freeway. Minimal oil consumption. When driven normally uses about a quart between oil changes. Uses more if driven hard or high speeds on the freeway. Starts right away when driven every day. Let it sit a week or longer and takes longer to start. Has a four-barrel carburetor which was recently professionally re-built. I encourage anyone interested in this El Camino to see it in person before buying as it is offered as is with no guarantee or warranty.
