Classic Car Overview
I bought this car in May 2025. It was in dire need of a lot of mechanical and electrical repairs. Ive spent 4,400$ on Parts alone. I did all the labor/repairs myself; I used only high quality parts. I am very meticulous about my work. The car is at 103,000 miles. I am very confident this is actual mileage. It appear that the car has never been wrecked or painted. Solid and rust-free underneath. Original factory wheels. Everything from bumper to bumper works. Digital instruments and gauges all work and are nice and bright. I rebuilt the dash cluster. Original 1984 radio works. AC works. All lights, inside out work. Runs and drives very well.
Aftermarket Borla exhaust, from rear axle back. Nice sound, not extreme.
New battery
New alternator
Cooling system overhaul: new radiator, cap, Tstat, coolant, radiator hoses, all heater hoses. Heater core and engine block flushed repeatedly until clean. New drive belt. New harmonic balancer.
All 3 new power steering hoses. PS system was flushed, filter added.
New tires. BF Goodrich g-Force Comp-2.
New struts for the hood and rear hatch.
New spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor. Set ignition timing.
Transmission fluid and filter changed. Transmission shifts very quick and smoothly.
Brake fluid replaced.
Rear differential fluid replaced.
Engine valve cover gaskets and intake manifold gaskets were replaced.
I found old hand written maintenance records from a previous owner back to 84,000 miles. He had a lot of work done:
Brakes, timing set, transmission rebuilt, u-joints and drive axles, shocks, brake master cylinder.
