Classic Car Overview
$21,500 obo. 1983 Porsche 944 Survivor. 42 years-owned by same owner from August 1983 to April 2025! This car is a well maintained time capsule, now shows just as it rolled off the assembly line. I purchased it earlier this year, but will no longer have garage storage, so I am selling.
Comes with a pristine journal and maintenance going back to the late 1900s. Since acquiring, I've added the Fuchs, 15x7/15x8 and new 225/60 and 215/60 tires, bought an original SQR-22 and had it rebuilt to fully function, and also sourced and installed a year correct power antenna to replace the one that was not working. Fully inspected and cleaned both fuse panel and relay panel, and replace DME relay, cleaned injection sensor, new spark plugs, battery, fuel filter and had thoroughly inspected by a Porsche restoration mechanic from top to bottom. No rust, and in incredible condition.
Replace frayed driver seat belt. Timing belt and water pump have 2,000 miles, and full visual inspection completed on purchase. Original Cookie Cutter wheels (also listed on PCA come with the car). Original jack/spare and owners manual included. Roof does not leak. Original paint with clear coat (showing scatches) and paint protector film is also. Paint imperfections aren't visible from 10 feet but adds to the originality and survivor nature of the car. If you want to step back into the first Reagan term, and drive in a cockpit of a car that started your love for Porsche, this is the car. Prior owner added the rear glass brake light later required on the 1986 models, as well as some vintage side trim installed in the mid-80's as well. Little to no delamination of the rear window, fading on the pinstripe seats, cargo cover retracts slowly with help. Some small dash crackage.
