1983 Trans Am Daytona 25th Anniversary Pace Car Edition w/ Aero package.

Beautiful, original condition. 34,500 original miles. 2nd owner since 2000. The first owner was the manager of the Rochester, NY Pontiac dealership. All records back to when he owned it. Bought it with 19K miles in 2000.


This is a very early build DT500 with the single folding back seat like the 82. Production number/VIN shows 210072, which is the lowest number I've seen. Automatic, 305FCI with zero issues since purchase because it's all stock. Runs the way the engineers designed it.

This car has never had the T-tops off, according to its previous owner, and I never removed them, so it doesn't leak. Garaged always, and never driven in winter per the previous owner. I have the following original items and extras:


All 4 white 15" bowling ball hubcaps
Original DT500 floor mats
Leather T-Top storage case
2 relays for headlights/power antenna (same relay)
Seat belt retractor clips
Replacement double locking gas cap
Extra pin striping, originally from Pontiac, as well as the Phoenix Graphics roll.


No one has ever sat in the back seat, and the belts are still crossed from the factory. Seats are beautiful and not restored. Headliner is original, not sagging.


What does it need?


-Front/rear speakers (1 rear speaker works)
-Shoulder harness seat belt retraction clips (included).
-The radio unit tape deck refurbish and the first number on the display. Works fine as far as radio functioning.
-Cruise control inop (likely a relay).
- Windshield washer pump (for fluid). Motor for wipers is fine.
-rear shocks (front done 2025).


This car is READY TO DRIVE. I drive it every weekend, maybe 15 miles.


I'm space-limited, and that's the only reason I'm listing this car that I've loved for 26 years. If you're a DT500 fan and want to go to car shows and enjoy the ride, this is the one for you.
