1983 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Coupe

Here we have a 1983 Pontiac Trans AM for sale. This is car is a time capsule ride that will take you back in time. Its only showing just over 1,300 miles and it shows. It looks just a gorgeous as the day it was bought new and has a clean Carfax with no accidents. Its of course a numbers matching car that runs excellent and will make the perfect addition to any Trans AM lovers garage. When you walk around it theres no denying how clean and solid all the body is. All the lines flow perfectly down the sides and the fit of all the panels is equally impressive with every gap being even and symmetrical. This is a factory Bright Red car that has clearly been garage stored and kept polished to a mirror finish thats slick as a ribbon. We can see that this car is factory rear hatch car with T Tops that are like brand new. It even has the factory storage bag for them thats like new as well. All the jams are clean and solid along with all the weather stripping. Every piece of glass in this 83 checks out to be original and is like new and all of the seals are beautiful. This Trans AM was factory ordered with the rear spoiler thats done in black. It also has the Black Side Trim, Lower Black Accents and the black grill that really makes the Bright Red pop. To finish off the exterior its sitting on the original 14 Finned Cast Aluminum Wheels with Uniroyal White Letter Tires. Next, we will look at the interior of this 83. On the inside its just as nice and looks to be all original. Its done in the factory Two Tone Charcoal interior with Black Accents that flows perfectly with the Red Exterior. Looking at the seats we can see that they look just as nice as the day it was bought and that it does front reclining buckets. All the door panels are in excellent condition as well and it features the roll up windows that go up and down with ease. We can see that the dash shows no signs of sun abuse or any damage. The pad looks amazing along with all the gauges that are working as they should. It comes with factory AC that blows cold and even the original radio is still in it and working as well. This Trans AM has the factory steering wheel and does come with cruise and tilt wheel. The center console is in excellent condition and houses the automatic Shifter. When you lift the hatch, you can see that everything in back in also in excellent condition. Finally, we will look at the driveline of this Pontiac. Under the hood its powered by the matching numbers 305 V8 engine that looks like it needs to still be on a show room floor. All the inner fenders and under the hood are solid and beautiful. The 305 engine is dressed in the original valve covers and air cleaner that seals to the Power Bulge Hood. We can also see that this V8 is set up with the factory intake and Quadrajet 4 Barrel Carb. When we look under this Trans AM, we can see that all the floors and frame are original with no signs abuse or Damage. The V8 is mated to the Matching Numbers 700R Automatic Trans and 10 Bolt Rear End with 3.23 Gears. It comes with Front Disc Brakes and Rear Drums, and youll notice all the brake lines are in excellent condition. The fuel lines are equally nice along with the gas tank.
