Coming out of original ownership from new purchase in 1983 at Auto Stiegler Mercedes-Benz in Encino, California. Rare color livery Lapis Blue Metallic over Royal Blue MB-Tex with dark blue soft top. This is a Southern California 1 owner example thats been garaged its entire life. The Gentleman original owner bought this car new and paid cash for it in 1983. Retained with the original and only ownership are factory books and manuals and all service records.

Beautiful sumptuous Royal Blue interior shows well with crisp door cards, soft beautiful and supple MB-Tex thats been highly preserved. Gorgeous vibrant original blue carpets show little wear and no UV exposure. The matching hard top is also clean and headliner and glass look great.
The Lapis Blue Metallic paint is simply beautiful, deep, lustrous and soft to touch. A key component to the preservation on this 380SL was the consistent lifelong indoor garage care it benefitted from. All the chrome is bright, it retains all original MB glass and the rubber shows very well.
Wears 14 inch chrome Mercedes Bundt style wheels.
A massive service was done at our Mercedes shop in preparation for the sale including a complete timing chain service, fluids and brakes to name a few.
Complete with original MB books and manuals, convertible tools, factory tool roll, spare and jack.
