If you're a fan of vintage Japanese cars, be sure to check out Nissan's online heritage site. There are tons of vintage Nissan pics and specs going all the way back to the 1920s. Each featured car or truck has relevant specs and a little "detail" tab that gives some background on that specific car.
The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. From a cargo carrier with no windows behind the driver's seat to a windowed passenger van with three rows of seats, the possibilities seemed endless.
Classic Car Overview
One Owner. All original in excellent condition. Paint is original, not touched up and is in fantastic condition with only small chips from 125,000 miles of driving. Pinstriping is two tone hand painted and was applied at the Mercedes dealer when the car was new. (Back in the day, all pinstriping was done by hand at the dealer. It was called craftsmanship. You can see the color detail best in the fuel filler photo). Only one small ding on the lower trim on driver's door as pictured. Grill is a factory item Mercedes grill with large star center. Have the original grill, which is pictured and will be included with the car. Easy to change back if you want the stock look. Plastic trim around the headlamps and turn signals have no dulling cracking or sun damage.
Leather seats were covered in sheepskin, so there is no wear, even on the driver's seat. Headrests have fitted cloth covers, so they also look like new. No sun damage or fading on any of the interior. Dashboard and steering wheel have no wear or cracking. Wood trim is in excellent condition with no cracking or discoloration. Rear deck material has no sun damage. Original first aid kit is present and complete. Radio is original unit and in working order. Radio was sent out and has been updated with Bluetooth. All locks, windows, and sunroof work properly. Air conditioning blows cold. All switches and lights on this car is work as they should.
Trunk interior looks like new. Spare tire is the original to the car and was never used. Factory tool pouch is there with all the original tools, as is the jack. As is seen in the photos, the underside of the car has no corrosion or rust anywhere. All scheduled services were done at the correct intervals. All the manuals and paperwork for the car are there as well.
The car has not been detailed or touched up, so it is what it is represented to be. If you are looking for a classic with many years and miles of service remaining, this is it. Car gets looks and complements wherever it goes.
Serious inquiries only. If you are a dealer: NO, I do not need your help selling this car.
