Classic Car Overview
This mid-restore project in excellent condition with a rebuilt 258/6-cyl and new body is the perfect starting point for your classic CJ-7, ready for you to finish to your specifications.
Miles since rebuild: 667
Original seats in good condition with most wear on the drivers side.
New body, except for the grill and rollbar (retails around $8,000 at Quadradic, paint is factory primer, ready for your paint shop and any color you desire)
Rough Country 4" Lift
Tracbar for added stability
T5 5-speed manual transmission
Howell EFI (fuel injection)
Summit Trail Climber 31" tires (31x10.5x15LT) with plenty of tread
Warrior Products shackles
Functioning EVAP
Electric fans with independent relays
HEI distributor with Live Wires
New alternator
New battery
Stainless exhaust with Cherry Bomb muffler
Kentrol battery holder
Stainless hardware throughout
New brakes
The only known issues are a little popping on deceleration, probably due to an exhaust leak or running a little rich; some wandering, which is to be expected with a lift this high that reduced the castor quite a bit; and the volt gauge has to be tapped to show the correct voltage ... it's an original gauge 43 years old, so it isn't surprising that it's starting to fail.
