Classic Car Overview

1983 Jeep cj7 in good condition. Stock straight six engine and five speed manual transmission. Original paint still shines. Hard top, bikini top, and Seal Skin cover. Tuffy center console lock box. Four inch suspension lift with new shocks and new 33x12.5 BFG Mud Terrain tires. Tow hitch with electrical connections. Dual gas can spare tire rack (not mounted).

Vehicle history: I bought the Jeep from my brother in laws brother in law. He inherited it from one of his best friends about ten years ago. He and his friend were true Jeep enthusiasts and did all of the maintenance on the vehicle. I dont have a written record of their maintenance. The previous owner stated that he did not use the jeep much in the last decade.

I bought the jeep in October 2023. The jeep had fifteen-year-old BFG All Terrain tires that I replaced with BFG Mud Terrain tires (receipt). I replaced the windshield wiper blades and rubber on the fenders. Jeep Solutions of Long Beach rebuilt the carburetor and Ray-A-Motive (Lakewood) fine tuned it, smogged it, and submitted smog test results to CA DMV. The Jeep is street legal and registered in CA. Runs, idles

Mechanical issues: Typical 1980s play in steering, an oil leak, slight lifter tapping.

Reason for sale: It is very difficult for me to get into the jeep due to its height and my physical condition. I want to use the money from the sale to buy an old Volkswagen, Volvo, BMW, or 1960s American car.
