1983 Jeep CJ 7

Engine has a little over 1100 miles on it.

Has classic title plates. No emission testing. Just got it inspected a couple weeks ago.


This Jeep has below features:

Completely re-wired with Painless Harness

Engine: 350CI SBC with Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake and Fitech Go Street 400 fuel injection. HEI and shorty headers. 2, 2.5 into 3 Magnaflow single exhaust.

Transmission & T/C: Muncie SM465 4 speed with twin stick Dana 300 Hydraulic clutch and hill holder with shifter mounted control button ready. I removed this when I got it. But anyone can put it back in place easly.

Differentials: AMC 20 with Moser one-piece axles rear and Dana 30 with manual hubs front with shackle reversal. All springs are 2.5 with Rancho shocks. Power asst brakes and steering.

Interior:
brand new best top sport seats That recline as well as move forward and backwards both driver and passenger.

Rear is Corbeau fold and tumble bench seat. Locking console and map box.

Pioneer blue tooth hands free audio with a 4-speaker system.

Dash has Speedhut GPS speedometer module with Speedhut digital oil pressure and voltmeter.

Garmin GPS with rear view camera option and Fitech remote panel are dash mounted.

Glass tinting is ceramic film.

Exterior:

Brand new best top soft top and hardware. Installed in May.

Front bumper with a frame mounted receiver for a winch carrier. (Bracket included, no winch).

The rear bumper is swing away tire carrier and Hi Lift jack bumper mounted and secured by locking system.

Garvin Expedition Rack with extra floor rails for whatever you want to pack along.
( I took this off because I live in the city)

ProComp LED light bar and ditch lights mounted on cowl. The headlights have been upgraded to LED.

The good:
It runs. It looks great. Great interior.

Issues:
Its a jeep. You know what you are getting into.

The fuel system needs to be dialed in. It was great in the winter then I tried to dial it in for the summer and now I can tell that the fuel delivery is a little off. Im not a fan of fuel injection in these. I would prefer a 4 barrel. But its just a matter of setting the correct parameters in the computer.

I drive it to and from the gym and thats it.

Heater fan just stopped blowing, but its probably a fuse, literally happened this morning (10-15-24) so I want to disclose that.

It leaks a tiny bit. Again. Its a jeep.

A couple of spots it could use some paint touch up.
