Classic Car Overview

1983 Ford Mustang Coupe $4,500

Red · 8 Cylinder · 21,867 miles

1983 Ford Mustang GT project car.  I have owned the car for 10 years and worked on it on and off during that time.  Complete rebuild of the engine and tranny 3 years ago.  Interior needs work, aftermarket seats, fading, no headliner, no fan/heater controls (heat is stuck on low with no fan control at this time).  No plastic part of the turn signal lever just the metal stub out of the column.  Rear seat is stock and in good shape.  Electric windows work.  Body is good, straight but has paint chips and some roof damage in the front on the passenger side and there are a few small rust spots coming thru on the lower rear quarters.  Stock gauges are disconnected except for the gas gauge which works fine.  After market tack, oil pressure, water temperature and voltage gauges.  Moroso push button start/ignition/fuel pump control panel.  Key start wiring and A/C wiring are rolled up under the dash along with other old wiring.  Rewiring was on my list of things to do next.  I was going to get all new gauges.  I have a new aluminum dash plate from MC Machine, see pictures.

The care runs and drives great, very strong, never beat.  I drive it in the summer.  Engine and tranny rebuild have about 1000 miles on it (my estimate, speedo is unhooked).  There is a long list of mechanical parts associated with the rebuild and other work I have done.  I am sure I missed a few;

Stock Ford 302 SB bored 40 over

Reconditioned stock rods with ARP fasteners

Keith Black -6.5 cc pistons, CR 9.6, runs very good on pump gas
