1982 Mercedes-Benz 240D

1982 Mercedes-Benz 240D. 4-speed manual transmission, power steering, sunroof, 4-wheel disc brakes, steel wheels, Mercedes-Benz hub caps, jack, and spare tire. A/C and heater work. Cruise control.

This car is about perfect. Owned by the original owner for nearly it's whole life. The motor is pristine. Absolutely no rust. There are a few minor flaws including a small dent on the back passenger panel, and wheel well; otherwise I would list it as excellent.

I never noticed the ding when I purchased the car, but I think it can be popped out. Mechanically it is a ten. Paint is excellent. Car was almost always garaged.

Presently parked in my office garage. I have two cars parked in office garage and need to sell one of them. The car will start first try, even after sitting for more than a month and a half, without touching the throttle. Does not blow smoke, mechanically this car is a ten.

I thought I could get $18,900, but no one has come to see the car, and the only emails I got are the cashier's check etc. It's clear the are not true purchasers or recognize the value and desirability of this car.

I have reduced the price to $12,900 or best offer. I'll add a video in a about a week or two, and record the cold start so you can see for yourselves.

The carpet under the ugly matts is excellent, including the original floor covers.
