Classic Car Overview

Real unrestored 10,295 original mile rot free unrestored California Blue plate Jeep CJ7.

This rare gem is being offered from one of the oldest Jeep CJ only businesses in the world. www.rudys-cjs.com. A sole proprietor based CJ only shop in Findlay Ohio est in 2002.

Price easily negotiated to $35k without hardtop and hard doors. Soft top choices available

From a ranch in California this little gem was used as it was intended in a favorable climate until the rancher expired.

1982 and newer Jeep CJs have 6 digit odometers where-as 81 and older are only 5. This CJ has an actual mile title in my name. The condition in person verifies the mileage.

It has an ideal driveline which is the 4cyl from AMC that is literally 2/3 of the legendary 258 6 Cylinder, a T5 transmission and 4.10 gears.

If you didn't know...All the 4 Cyl Jeeps got better gears than their 6 Cyl counterparts and therefore the usable speeds are the same or better with the 4 cyl. Almost no one is trying to drive 75 MPH in a CJ. Late CJ 6 cyls either got 2.72 or 3.31 gears. The 4 Cyl Jeeps got 3.54 or 4.10.

For some reason it is leak free. Everything works as it should. The carb was rebuilt.

I purchased this from a wonderful K9 officer in Cali who had the floor lined as without doubt it had surface rust and scratches. It was pro done and will make the Jeep useable and inhibit further corrosion. The underside is honest without undercoating to show this has never been rusty.

She updated the stereo without cutting the dash and it comes with a JEEP Am radio filling the dash hole.

Drives like a 10k original Mile CJ should.

Buyer gets a choice of wheels as shown....black wheels and I would put black letters over the JEEP stamp or white wheels w new tires of the buyers choice and I'd advise white letters over the JEEP stamp.

FYI, the black wheels have new tires on them. The tires w the white wheels are not worthy of the Jeep which is why I will get new ones for you or offer a concession in price.

Hard doors and hard top are also a variable. I have a very nice black hard top or a white one. I would advise either with the wheel choice or no top or a soft top. All variable w the price negotiated. EZ PZ

It still has a lot of original paint on. It had a dent left rear, spur marks on the pass side below the door and the hood was faded. My body shop did a great job with matching the paint.

It has rare oem tow hooks on the front, curved bumper brackets and OEM bumperettes.

It also has power steering and front disc brakes.

This a great little Jeep and sure to hold its value. It is not an expenditure but certainly an investment you can enjoy!

I have sold hundreds of CJs and there is nothing better than seeing your Jeep in person if you can make the trip. That said, I only meet about half my buyers these days and can help with shipping.

Please bookmark my website for other clean CJs. I may be in the Midwest but all my CJs come from favorable climates and I have more parts than anyone to correct these if they need something. The core of my business is exceptional metal as the mechanicals can always be resolved but rotted metal can't be corrected with flimsy Asian metal and patchwork.

The black Laredo shown is available as of 4/25/2024 and is also on my site.

Thank you Rudy...please just call 614-203-1947 The messaging here is clunky and a waste of time
