1982 Jeep CJ 7

Up for sale is a 1982 Jeep CJ-7 with the 4.2 liter inline 6 cylinder engine. It is backed up by the T-4 four speed manual transmission and the Dana 300 transfer case. The milage is unknown.
We have owned this classic American vehicle since May, 1998. It was a birthday present for my wife and we have loved and taken care of it for the last 24 years. The last several years I have only been starting it up and driving it short distances just to keep everything fresh. It is time to let it go and have another person really enjoy this piece of history.
The engine is the best CJ motor, the 258 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder with tons of torque. It has the T-4 4 speed manual transmission and the Dana 300 transfer case. This Jeep has a 2 inch Skyjacker lift kit and 3/4 inch shackles. It is sitting on 15 inch aluminum wheels with Yokohama Geolandar AT-S 33x12.5x15 tires. It does have stainless steel braided brake lines. At the front it has a Warn rock crawler front bumper with D-rings and Hella fog lights. It has Rugged Ridge reclining front sport seats and a Best Top fold and tumble rear seat. I do have a soft top and the frame, but the top is old and has been stored for many years as we just drive it on pretty days. On the exterior it has OMIX rock sliders to help protect the body.
This is a very clean example of the CJ-7. It has not been butchered or cut up. The modifications that have been made to it are minor and understated. If desired, it can be taken back to stock very easily. This comes with several books, JP magazines, 2 hy-lift jacks and many spares. I also have 2 steel half doors from a YJ. There is an additional 4.2 liter long block that comes with the Jeep.
