1982 Clenet Other Clenet Models

This is the last series of the Clenet autos factory built in Santa Barbara, Ca, by Clenet Coachworks. 1982 Clenet Series III Asha hardtop, the rarest of all 3 series, since they only built 14 of the hardtop models & this is #10 & numbered on the door & on the title. These were very very pricey at close to $100,000. back in 1982, so many celebrities bought & drove a Clenet. The top is not removable, but is covered in a navy canvas, so it looks like a convertible, but much cleaner. and has a navy leather interior, with leather wrapped steering wheel, & the coolest, richest wood dash, you could find, with an in dash shifter with a wood knob, new stereo just installed, has a crystal ashtray, & this is a 2 seater, but has tons of room behind the seats, for luggage, kids, pets, or mother in law haha-sorry!! Has 4 real chrome wire wheels, with wider white tires, & all Clenet emblems, with a crystal hood ornament, wood on running boards & trunk lid, good size rear trunk, with a fold down tool kit, chrome side supercharger pipes, 124" wheelbase, 74" wide, 54" high with a 19 gallon gas tank, peppy V8 Ford engine, automatic, tilt, power brakes, steering, locks, windows, seats, etc, air conditioning & heater, etched side vent windows, with styling of the multi million dollar 1929-1930's Bugatti. this is not a kit car or a replica, it would probably cost over 175,000. to build one today. has around 30,000 miles, with a super long 2 piece metal hood, metal doors & metal trunk lid, twin trumpet horns, navy carpets, even in the trunk, nice soft ride, since its built on a brand new Lincoln/Mercury chassis, large spotlights & nice 2 piece bumpers, turns heads wherever you go. a lot of car for only $36,900!! that's all $36,900. a lot of car for the bucks.
